Antico Pizza Napoletana

Antico boasts a fairly large amount of accolades including “one of the top 3 pizzas to try before you die” in Canada.
If you are a true pizza enthusiast you should also know that Antico Pizza is AVPN approved.
As you can imagine these pizzas are made fresh to order, the dough is naturally leavened for 24-36 hours, and baked in an authentic Neapolitan wood-fired oven.
In the heart of downtown Kelowna, this is a great spot to stop if you’re taking a break from the lake. Antico Pizza has a true local feel, with the authenticity that comes with true wood-fired Neapolitan pizza.
Best For : Authentic Neapolitan Pizza
DunnEnzies

How could we talk about pizza in Kelowna without mentioning DunnEnzies?
They have a very generous menu with their regular pizzas like “Marco Pollo”, and Diego’s Inferno”, to their specialty pizzas like donair, and butter chicken.
They also have a generous selection of white sauce pizzas, and the pizza classics. We always like to see a big selection as it allows a little bit for everyone.
They also have a gluten free 10″ pizza for $20, with the toppings the way you like it.
If you’re looking for a big selection of pizza in downtown Kelowna to choose from then this is the spot for you. DunnEnzies is also arguably the best pizza spot to go for entertainment, as they regularly have live music.
We also love the local aspect to DunnEnzies as they participate in a ton of charities and events.
Best For : Large Pizza Selection, Live Music
Curious Cafe

This is a curious spot for sure! With a real Forno pizza oven, this Neapolitan pizza we think is great value. With a simple, classic pizza menu with just the right amount of pizzas to choose from, and some great specials this is a must if you’re in Kelowna and looking for some pizza and wine.
Pro tip, Monday is pizza and wine special. Any pizza and a 3oz glass of wine for $22 is a great deal!
Vegan and gluten free options also which is always great.
They also source a lot of their beers from local breweries which is awesome.
Best For : Pizza and Wine Deal
La Vela Pizzeria

La Vela is probably one of the best underrated pizzerias in Kelowna. They pride themselves on customer service and they really deliver on this too.
An Italian restaurant that offers delicious pizza baked in a wood fired oven. They use locally sourced apple wood to heat the oven too.
The pizzas are also a very modest price considering the top quality that is served. You can tell La Vela is run with love and a true sense of community and respect.
Both gluten and vegan pizza options are also available. The pizza options are pretty classic, such as Margherita and Primavera. However, they also have a “spider man” pizza which is Italian wieners, topped with French fries and a side of homemade dressing and ketchup.
Best For : Best Value Neapolitan Pizza.
Your Buddy’s Pizza

Just over the bridge on Kelowna’s West Side is Your Buddy’s Pizza. A great little pizza spot with a classic pizza joint selection.
Favourites include Pepperoni Lover, Meat Lover, and Hawaiian. An extra large pizza (16″) comes in around $27 which is a great deal, especially for the amount of toppings you get.
There isn’t the same concentration as downtown Kelowna, so this is a great spot to check out if you’re looking for pizza in West Kelowna.
Best For : West Side Value
Jackknife Brewing

Jackknife Brewing is a really unique place that offers some amazing pizzas and great value.
With their core names of pizzas like “The Convincer”, “The Persuader”, and “The Crippler” you can see why this is such a popular and unique place to grab a pie.
The theme of Jackknife Brewing is for sure “dungeonous”. Which I guess could have a sort of ominous ambiance to the place. However, this is exactly the opposite, the vibe inside is warm and inviting, and they also contribute significant time and energy into local charities.
In addition to contributing to the community with charitable work they pride themselves on inclusiveness and respect.
We love this. A true local spot.
Best For : Friendliness, Metal Music.
Hansen’s Classic Pizza

Hansen’s is a great little spot, they even have a brick pizza oven. Which is always amazing!
They have a massive menu with some unique Za’s, like “Smoky Aloha”, which is ham, chipotle chicken, pineapple, cheddar, and bacon.
You can create your own pizza. Although the large pizza is about $27, the second one is only $20, so pretty darn good value! We love the simplicity of Hansen’s but also the great diversity in the menu.
Best For : Generous Toppings
Murray’s Pizza

If you are in Kelowna, you need to go to Murray’s. The menu is extensive, the staff are friendly, and it is probably the best value pizza in the city.
We also loved the “Kitchen Sink”, check it out, it has everything you could ever dream of.
Also, with thin, thick, and gluten free options available there is something for everyone.
Best For : Best Value in the City, Tons of Toppings
Red Bird Brewing

Wood-fired pizza and beer? Yes please. If that’s your vibe then Red Bird is your vibe.
Six pizzas to choose from, nice and simple, with just the right amount of extravagance.
Quite underrated pizza by most standards, plus if you like live music they have that too.
Best For : Beer and Pizza
Upside Cider

If you’re not into beer or wine, then Upside is the place you should check out. Not only are the ciders delicious but they just so happen to have pizza too (obviously).
Perfect pairing is the Apple and Prosciutto, with a flight to try everything.
Gluten and vegan options available, organic flour, and mozza from Salmon Arm. Oh, did we mention it’s in a food truck, which for some reason makes pizza taste better!
Best For : Cider and Pizza

If by chance you find yourself partaking in a winery tour, which is perhaps why you’re in Kelowna, then maybe you’re interested in some pizza too. Kelowna has a few great options for winery pizza too.
